Policies
Reservation and Deposit
To secure your reservation and cover accommodation, flights, administrative fees, and other tour costs, a deposit is required. This deposit is non-refundable and ensures your spot on the tour. If Kimberley Adventure Co (KAC) cancels the tour, your deposit will be refunded.
Cancellation Policy
No cancellation fees will be waived for reasons such as injury, sickness, change of circumstances, delayed, rescheduled, or missed flights, climatic, social, or political problems, or Covid-19 border restrictions. We strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance to cover cancellation costs due to sickness, injury, or medical conditions.
Covid-19 Policy
Participants unable to meet border control requirements due to Covid-19 and forced to miss the tour will be subject to cancellation fees. Deposits and payments made towards the tour can be transferred to another tour within two years if unable to attend due to border restrictions.
Insurance
While our tours include public liability insurance, participants are responsible for obtaining personal insurance. Final payment is due four weeks prior to the tour, and from this point, no refunds for cancellation will be given. We highly recommend travel insurance covering tour costs in case of cancellation.
By booking, participants agree to assume all risks associated with trail bike riding, abide by local traffic regulations, and hold Kimberley Adventure Co harmless for any damages or losses.
Participants are responsible for adhering to the terms of the rental agreement, safe riding practices, and possessing a valid motorcycle license. Any damages caused by negligence are the responsibility of the rider.
Required Documents
Participants must provide a copy of their current motorcycle license or learner’s permit, read and accept Kimberley Adventure Co’s Terms and Conditions, and sign a Release and Waiver, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement.
Motorcycle tour packages do not include optional tours, gratuities, or travel insurance. Participants are responsible for their own travel insurance and ambulance cover.
Participants acknowledge the need for flexibility in itineraries due to local circumstances, including Covid-19 related restrictions, weather, or vehicle breakdowns. Kimberley Adventure Co reserves the right to alter arrangements as necessary.
Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellation after final payment incurs varying fees based on proximity to departure date. An administration fee may apply for cancellations after a certain payment threshold.
Your deposit is non-refundable. If cancelling after final payment and or instalments have been received:
– More than 21 days prior to departure date – 50% is refunded of the remaining amount.
– Between 21 days and departure date – No refund.
– If making payment instalments, an admin fee of $400 will be charged if cancelling after 50% of the full amount has been received.
It is highly recommended that participants obtain travel insurance to cover costs in case of illness or injury. If you can find a replacement rider to fill your position, your deposit and final payment can be transferred to that replacement rider once they complete the booking form and agree to the terms and conditions. Please do not expect our small business to cover the cost of your cancellation fees if you choose not to have insurance.
Participants may transfer their deposit and final payment to a replacement rider if one is found, subject to completion of the booking form and acceptance of terms and conditions.
It is essential for participants to understand that Kimberley Adventure Co cannot cover the cost of cancellation fees for those without travel insurance.
By proceeding with booking, participants acknowledge and accept all terms and conditions outlined above.
